Two More Halloween Cards

Well, here are my last two Halloween cards for this year...I love this "Witchy Woman."....I started off with a black card and used two different papers for the background, an orange floral and the black with gold stars...I then added some silky autumn leaves and a bat at the top that I glittered and topped off with a yellow stick on gem...The October 31st is a terrific chipboard piece by "Little Yellow Bicycle." I wrote "Merry Halloween" inside with a white pen...
Next is another black card that I added two different papers to, an orange with Halloween words written all over it and a black with gray polka dots...Not only do these little girls want candy but the velvety black cat and silky white ghosts want their share, too...I wrote "Trick or Treat' inside in white pen..I think these little ladies are so cute..

So, now it's time to get out my stash to make Christmas cards...I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween cards...I sure had fun making them...Thank you for stopping by and I hope you all have a Merry Halloween............Kathy

Ghost and Pumpkin Halloween Cards

I have two Halloween cards to show you today..They both open on the side...I wanted to take photos of them open and standing up but the pics just didn't come out good...So, I laid them flat on printed paper to show them off...

I first drew the ghost and the pumpkin on folded card stock and then cut their shapes out...I added little baby ghosts to the mama ghost...They are frightened of the little witch riding her broom on the back of the card...I forgot to take a picture of the back...Sorry about that...Inside the ghost it simply says BOO!

The pumpkin card I cut out of a stripe orange card stock and then I drew her face on with a black marker and inked around the edges with orange for some depth...I added some black, silky flowers and a couple of autumn leaves, along with a bit of hay which is paper ribbon scrunched up...Two orange stick on jewels on the black flowers gave it a little sparkle...It says Happy Halloween inside..

I'm still working on a few more Halloween cards and then it's on to Christmas...These little guys were really fun to make...hope you enjoy looking at them on this chilly Sunday afternoon here in the Boston area...Hope you are all having a good day...Thanks for stopping by and I would love to hear what you think of my Halloween ghost and pumpkin......Kathy

Red Floral Pocketbook Card

I felt so honored to be asked to host a pocketbook card swap in my ArtHaven group...I can't wait to see what fabulous art the other ladies have come up with...They are all so talented...

Here is my pocketbook, a bit of a red confection this time...I was kind of thinking Christmas while making this card, but it could be used for a birthday, a thank you etc...I absolutely love this paper with the tiny, red roses pattern and the mint green polka dot was on the reverse side of the sheet so, I used the two together since they go perfectly...I added an off white fabric lace to the outline of the flap and then a pretty, red ribbon rose and a red ribbon for the handle...The card opens from bottom to top...

I will be posting some more Halloween cards soon...They are so fun to make...Thank you for stopping by my blog...I appreciate your lovely comments...Have a great weekend everyone.......Kathy

Witches Hat Card

Halloween is fast approaching and this is the first Halloween card that I've made, but I do have more in the works...My ArtHaven group had a swap for a Halloween card with matching envelope...So, I cut out the shape of a witches hat from black paper and then added the black & white check paper to the brim and a black paper with silver stars to the crown..Then I added a bunch of silver stick on, mettalic stars on top of that...I added an orange ribbon with black stick on pearls for the band and then glittered 2 orange paper flowers with Stickles Orange Peel, which gave a really nice punch of sparkle...

I stamped the black envelope with white ink and with a white pen I wrote "BOO" on the front and "Merry Halloween" for the inside greeting, but I forgot to take a picture of that...So, I hope you like my Halloween card...I really enjoyed making this one...Halloween is so much fun...Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and for visiting my blog.......Kathy
