Bookmark/Tag

I made this bookmark for my sister's birthday but she didn't want to ruin it, using it as a bookmark, so she hung it up instead...Now it's a piece of art for her bedroom...I used the beautiful papers from Graphic 45's "A Ladies' Diary."  I bought the 12x12 pad because each sheet of paper was just too gorgeous to resist...I added lace and lots of buttons, once again, and a little tiny pink, ribbon bow...I can't wait to do more art projects with this lovely collection of paper...

Thanks for stopping by today...It's a rainy day here and I've been working on Halloween cards...A perfect day to stay indoors and create...Halloween will be up next...See you soon...Kathy

Baby Girl Card

My cousin and his wife just became first time grandparents to Ayla Marie recently so, I couldn't wait to make them a card..I just love these adorable papers from Graphic 45...The floral and polka dot background papers are from my stash...I painted "Ayla" in a light shade of blue and the pin in blue and pink...Both are made of chipboard...I added white lace on the borders, little tiny buttons all over and a pretty in pink paper rose at the top...It's so very girly and I hope they like it...

I'll be starting my Halloween cards soon...I'm loving this great, cool weather we are having..Thanks for visiting my blog today and I would love to know what you think of my baby card...It sure was fun making it...I'll be back soon with a tag and Halloween cards.....Kathy

50th Anniversary Card

My brother and his wife are celebrating their 50th anniversary this week...When I saw this cute old fashioned couple in their little automobile, I knew it would be perfect for an anniversary card...I don't usually use too much blue but it just seemed a good fit for this card...I used stripe and floral papers from my stash for the background and framed the picture in tiny, gold floral German scrap...50 years is golden so I thought this would be a nice touch...The stick on letters are their initials..A little lace at the bottom and some blue paper flowers with tiny pearls in the centers and that's it...This card came together easily, for some reason...

Next up I will have a baby card to share with you, hopefully this weekend...Thanks for stopping by my blog...I hope you are enjoying the beginning of autumn as much as I am...Kathy
